Yep, It Snowed!

Not a lot of snow, but enough for Kristi to shovel off the driveway. Of course it was nothing like the time Brandon's family came a few winters ago! There was Nate telling Brandon how to use a snow shovel.

Pictures from Spencer

Spencer sent home a camera card with a lot of pictures and videos on it. The last picture is the Balut egg that Spencer eats. It's the egg they eat on Fear Factor.

Update on Josh

Josh met with the oncologist Tuesday and Liz, Kristi and I (the clan) tagged along as usual. Josh will not be having more surgery to remove additional lymph nodes. If, however, the ongoing ultrasound monitoring shows any changes then surgery would be done to remove all the lymph nodes in that region. As for treatment, Josh will be receiving interferon for a year. Interferons are natural proteins produced by the cells of the immune system in response to challenges by foreign agents such as viruses, bacteria, parasites and tumor cells. Interferons assist the immune response by inhibiting viral replication within other cells of the body. Feel free to call me if you want more specifics. Thanks for all your prayers and concern.

Hi everyone. Spencer e-mailed his itinerary for his return home. He'll be flying from Cebu to Hong Kong to San Francisco and finally arriving in Salt Lake City January 24th at 6:21 pm. Can't wait! Here's a little video clip from Spencer.

The Big Dance.

Nate went to the Bingham Ball last Saturday with his girlfriend Kylie. He's having a blast on the bowling team.

Spencer is doing great!

Spencer is still working hard and having a great time in the Philippines. Unfortunately we don't hear from him as often as we would like because he travels a lot and is very busy. Here are some recent pictures.

First post to the Hankins family blog.

Hello all! This is the first post to the new Hankins family blog. Let's see how this goes. The biggest question is of course, "How is Josh doing?" Josh is doing great and feeling so much better. He is back to school at Weber State in Ogden (Ogden is about 40 miles north of Murray). He and Liz have set April 30th as "the date." We can't wait for you to meet Liz - she's wonderful.
